I can find nothing to complain about with this drive. It's both 400 and 800 Firewire compatible and even supplies a USB 2.0 connection. All required cables are included. It's fast, quite and dependable. In fact, it's so good I purchased the smaller G-Technology G-DRIVE mini 500GB 7200RPM Portable External Hard Drive w/ eSATA, USB 2.0, Firewire 400, Firewire 800 Interfaces 0G01650 to go with it. You can plug the portable into the back of the desktop drive to daisy-chain them together. Great for doing backups and lightening fast backups of the portable drive.
