Customer Review: Quiet and Cool Great Drive.

I put the drive in an aluminum eSata/USB 2.0 external enclosure that formerly housed a 2TB external retail drive by Fantom. It easily formatted to 2.72 TB in Win 7 x64 Home. Currently using it as a Ghost 15.0 drive and for media storage. No problems after hours long backup of 1 TB+ of data and media streaming. Enclosure is ever so slightly warm and nowhere near hot. It is also extemely quiet...were it not for the enclosure's bright blue power light it'd be hard to know it is even running. Only negative is that, even as a retail kit the only extra in the box were mounting screws. No cables or brackets. I guess 'retail' no longer comes with everything needed to install as an internal drive?
