I originally ordered a WD Black Scorpio 320GB drive. The WD drive was noisy and produce unacceptable vibration. I ultimately returned the WD.
This Hitachi is quiet and vibration free! Perfect product for a laptop. Definitely recommended. Only comment...is that the product description on Amazon indicates that this drive has an 8mb cache...the packaging on the drive states 16mb (Bonus!).
