Nothing to say about the drive -- it just works and just got it for a week with no issues.
I do want to comment on the product packaging for this hard drive. It was simply the best, as I've always experienced with Amazon when ordering hard drives.
A long time ago I used to be faithful to another well known hardware distributor in the region and just that sole packaging issue changed my heart. It's not that I didn't like to put all my new eggs in the same basket but their packaging has gone way down -- to the point where the hard drives they sent me were packaged in a way that would not even be accepted by their own return policies.
No nonsense like this with Amazon, they take packaging seriously and totally won my business on that sole basis.

Advanced Format increases the physical sector size on hard drives from 512 bytes to 4096 (4K) bytes, which increases drive capacities and improves error correction capabilities.
